A safe, disciplined, and supportive environment is the foundation of academic excellence. Here's what every parent and student should know.
Home work is given on the basis of a pre-planned schedule. Grade 1 & 2 students have 30-45 minutes homework, grade 3-5 have 1 hour home work and grade 6-10 can have about 2 hours home work.
Days are fixed for different subjects' home work. Students carry only those subject books home that have home work.
Students are provided with shelf in each class room to keep their books safely so that they need to carry home only those subject books that are needed for home work.
Attendance is the first step in ensuring academic achievement. In order to ensure that the scholars reach for their personal best, they must show up and give their best effort at school each and every day, regular attendance is required.
The School Campus operates from, Monday to Saturday.
All absences - "Excused" and "Unexcused" - are considered absences: Any day the child does not attend school is considered an absence. Only scholar illness (with doctor's note), a death in the family, religious holiday (with parent/guardian notes) are considered 'excused' absences, though the scholar is still considered (and marked) absent from school.
Students are not allowed to go home during school hours. Parents are advised not to make any social engagements or medical appointments during working hours.
To ensure better discipline, parents are requested not to send their ward to school on the day they have such appointments.
Regular attendance is an important factor. If the child has less than 85% Attendance, his/her promotion to the next class may be affected.
Repeated or unexplained absence for a month renders the student liable to have his name struck off the rolls. Re-admission may be granted only on the payment of fresh Admission fee.
Our approach to discipline is rooted in a belief that the learning environment is sacred. We will do whatever it takes to make sure that every child is safe (physically, emotionally, mentally, and intellectually) and that every child has the chance to learn without needless disruptions. We have very high expectations for scholar behaviour in order to create and preserve a focused learning environment.
The school administrators and behaviour interventionists or their designee have the authority to decide on the appropriate consequences for scholar behaviour and infractions, including but not limited to; Point deductions, detention, school service, loss of school privileges, and suspension.
The school reserves the right to suspend students whose conduct is deemed harmful to other students, even after three written warnings.

Parents are advised to send nutritious food to school with the child. Children are not allowed to bring any unhealthy drinks (e.g., colas or juices heavy in sugar) or unhealthy food to school.
Junk food, soda, gum etc. cannot be brought to supplement a school lunch.
The entire lunch (one box for short break and the other for a long break) must be in one bag or container with the scholar's name on it. A napkin should be brought daily along with the lunch box.
Only vegetarian food is permitted for school meals.
School will remain close only in cases of extreme weather conditions / Govt. orders.
If parents and others concerned with the school don't know whether the school is delayed, closed, or open during inclement weather, they can check the school website, Facebook page, Edunext app or the local television news channel.
At the discretion of the Principal, any classroom days lost to closure due to inclement weather or other reasons may be made up by adding an equal number of days during or at the end of the school year.
All scholars are required to come to school in the prescribed uniform every day.
If a child fails to come in neat and clean uniform, he/she may be penalised or sent back home, unless there is written communication from the parent.
No expensive or fancy accessories/ articles are allowed in school. Expensive Jewellery, Mobile Phones, I-pods etc. are strictly prohibited and will be confiscated. The school is not responsible for any personal property lost.
Parents should ensure that their child, takes pride in his / her appearance and wears the school ID card every day.
Students are allowed to come in coloured dress on their birthdays.
School premise is a strict no-smoking, no-alcohol and drug free area.
The school does not believe in corporal punishment to students but at the same time, discipline from the students is considered as the basic quality.
Students are expected to be on time to school, to attend the morning assembly.
All students are required to speak only in English within the school premises. Use of foul language, obscene gestures, racial and disrespectful language or actions is strictly against the school norms.
Students should take pride in maintaining the school property. Any damage to the School Property is liable to be penalised.
The school believes in working in collaboration with the Parent Community and expects the parents to support the school for the benefit of the students.
Parents should check their child's School Almanac regularly for important messages, circulars or any other information and sign in the assigned page with a blue/black pen only.
Parents should facilitate the completion of the school assignment given to their wards. They should not do assignments for the students.
Parents are not permitted to meet the students or teachers during the working hours, without the permission of the Principal.
Parents need to contact the Principal regarding any complaint, and not the teachers directly.
If a Parent feels that his/her child is not making the desired progress, the Principal can be contacted early in the academic year to seek advice for his / her improvement. (Criticizing any of the teachers or the school in the presence of the child should be avoided.)
Parents are requested not to indulge in any kind of group meetings and create inconvenience of any kind in and around the school premises.
Non-observance of this rule will be regarded as a serious breach of discipline and your child's name will be removed from the rolls.
School campus is fully covered under CCTV surveillance. There is a fully guarded gate and strong compound wall around. Camera's in buses have been put up for security and safety of our school children.
Though every care is taken to ensure the safety and welfare of the students, if any mishap/accident occurs during school hours, school is not responsible for the consequences.
Parents are requested to promptly inform the Administrative Office of any change of address or phone numbers.
Students who come to school with their attendants should not leave before the attendant arrives. In case of delay, they should report to the school office.
School does not allow any student to leave the school premises with any other person except the one who is authorised by the Parents. In case of emergency, the person who comes to pick the child should carry an Authorisation Letter, duly signed by the Parent and his/her Identity Card.
Mock drills for fire safety is organised in school once a term every year.

As a regular practice followed every year, this session began with the orientation programme for the parents. The programme made the parents aware of the scheme of education we impart here at our school.
To ensure that our students are well equipped with knowledge to face any challenge, we have focused sessions on special topics including disaster management, health and hygiene, good touch bad touch, effective communication skills, etc.
In keeping with the school's policy of continuous upgradation of knowledge and skills, our teachers attended various workshops and seminars organized by the school so as to improve their academic transaction skills and to update their capabilities.
Creating awareness among our students is the need of the time. Keeping in mind the safety of the children, the school conducts self-defence classes for all the students right from grade 1 onwards. A trained and qualified instructor trains the students in Taekwondo and other self-defence techniques.
A workshop for child safety was organised in our school for awareness of children. The workshop was specifically based on good touch and bad touch as all the children should be aware of this.
School harassment committee for students and teachers was formed in the school, where any kind of misconduct can be reported. Complaint box in washrooms are been put up for everyone.

School encourages students to participate in various Olympiads. Participation in the Science, Maths, English, Gk and Cyber Olympiad, itself is the biggest competition where a student competes to outshine others. It infuses a healthy competitive spirit through reward-based assessment.
The students of the school are divided into four different houses, Each house is managed by teachers and students as a house captain, house vice-captain and house prefects. The house on duty performs its duty of conducting the day-to-day activities, competitions in systematic and disciplined manner.
To take part is what counts in competition and lessons of victory and defeat are what we get in return. This environment is sufficiently created through inter-school, inter-house and inter-class competitions. Our students take part in various inter-school district and state level competitions and bring laudable laurels to the school.
Games and sport, debates, creative-writing, spelling-bee, fancy dress competition, rhyme and rhythm, drawing, show and tell, hindihungama, matharon, hook a book, jumping jute and rearranging month activity were held in our school campus.
Medical and dental camps were held in the school for the kids so that the children get all the proper and hygiene awareness among them.

Google scratch workshop have been conducted in our school.
Field trips have also been organised in our school to the places like: Lakham dev lake, movie, picnics.
Promoting the harmony across all communities, special assemblies are conducted on a regular basis where all the festivals irrespective of the religion & following are fondly celebrated.
Parents can keep a real-time track of the status of their child for daily attendance, fee status, periodic results, school circulars and news, etc through the school app on androids and through the web portal.
Parents will have a direct access to communicate with the class-teacher for regular update of their child through school portal.
Parents and teachers have been brought closer as this software provides a direct upload of the daily homework on the online portal parallel to what's given in the classroom, so that parents too are apprised of the daily homework given in classroom and the same can be enforced at the parents' end too.

To facilitate holistic development and make learning fun, we conduct activities in different clubs all through the academic year.
